Welcome to my website

Hello!  My name is Jerod, and I am a loan officer in the McKinney office.  I have been helping customers achieve their goals and dreams of homeownership for the past 24 years.  My first job was at a local bank where I worked in the mortgage loan file department, before the advent of email and e-signatures, when everyone kept paper files still.  I worked my way up to loan officer and eventually vice president.  I have been at HomeTrust for the past five years and appreciate the team culture and family feel.  We are all working towards helping you navigate the ever-changing mortgage industry.

I grew up in Amarillo and married my high school sweetheart, April.  We have been married 22 years and have three children, Jaxen, Jayla and Josiah.  We also have three dogs, Addis the Great Dane, Bella, a cocker spaniel poodle mix, and Nala, whom we’ve yet to figure out.  I enjoy playing golf and watching and listening to sports.  My favorite place to travel is anywhere there is a beach.
